ONLINE CLASS
ELDT CERTIFIED
We offer an online class for you to take at your own pace and get your certification to apply for your CDL Permit.
Once you are finished with an 80% pass rate (unlimited tries) you will get a certificate and we will upload the information on the ELDT Federal Site. You will then be able to apply for a CDL Permit at your local DMV.
Our online class meets the Federal mandates for all necessary curriculum. $119.00 (bulk code purchases available)
ELDT EVALUATION
An evaluation is required to make sure you are proficient in all areas of learning to get your CDL License. If the trainee is unable to show proficiency in a certain area, then they will need to return after time and training to attempt this section of the evaluation again.
The evaluation takes approximately four to six hours and is meant to demonstrate proficiency for ELDT requirements. Once deemed proficient this will allow the CDL Exam to be scheduled.
You will need to have the ELDT Theory completed prior to this evaluation.
You must also have a CDL Permit to participate.
The fee for this service is $100 an hour plus truck rental if needed.

We offer group rates for six or more and will even team you up with another training to help cut your cost.
We are ELDT TRAINERS but you can still do training and we will do the certification when your employee is ready or we can do it all. Very flexible program.

Penn State Behrend will offer in person training in commercial delivery licensing (CDL) for new and experienced drivers.
During this course of in person classroom training, Vehicle Inspection hands on training, Vehicle Skills hands on training, and Road skills testing, students will learn all Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations as they pertain to a professional driver.
Penn State Behrend is offering a CDL training program that meets current state and federal requirements and produces quality truck drivers with identified differentiation to other programs.
